COLOGNE, Germany: Since the launch of its implant system in 1999, CAMLOG has established itself as an excellent provider of first-class dental implants with continuous growth and achieved another record year in 2016. In Germany, for example, every fourth implant placed is from CAMLOG. At the 2017 International Dental Show (IDS), the company is currently introducing a new implant line and treatment workflow solutions for the benefit of its customers.

In response to the current market demand, CAMLOG developed the natural-coloured ceramic implant system CERALOG based on more than ten years of research and development. The system is composed of the one-piece CERALOG Monobloc implant and the two-piece CERALOG Hexalobe implant, which is characterised by its reversible screw-retained prosthetic solutions. The abutment consists of the high-performance polymer PEKK and is ideally suited for the extreme demands of masticatory forces, for example. The ductility of PEKK reduces the stress level and simulates toothlike properties.

CAMLOG strives to provide its customers with efficiency in implant treatment. The new packaging concept delivers an improved outer package with a footprint ideal for the demands of busy practices. At the heart is the innovative implant holder. By means of a click mechanism, both the implant and the closure screw are secured in the holder. The new insertion post has a narrow head diameter and is ideal for reduced interdental spaces. Together with the diverse prosthetic possibilities of the CAMLOG and CONELOG systems, the multi-optional COMFOUR abutment system, the precise Guide System and the individual manufacturing services of DEDICAM, CAMLOG provides first-rate overall integrated concepts and solutions.

Its name, iSy (pronounced easy), a play on the words “intelligent system”, is the first to allow dentists to treat patients using digital or analogue workflows, from implant to crown, in a single package. To build on its success, CAMLOG has further improved the workflow for CEREC users by introducing a new scan adapter at IDS for Sirona Scanbodies S to streamline the CEREC implant process further.

As the exclusive distributor of BioHorizons’ products in Germany, CAMLOG is entering the market for tissue regeneration and introducing a comprehensive line of biomaterials at IDS. BioHorizons’ bone substitute materials and membranes will be available from April from CAMLOG.

During IDS, CAMLOG is exhibiting at Booth A010–B019 in Hall 11.3.
