Dr Desigar Moodley is a senior lecturer and researcher in the field of dental pulp stem cells and biomaterials at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town in South Africa. After completing his PhD on the cytotoxicity of dentine bonding agents, Moodley has successfully grown stem cells from dental pulp tissue and tested the response of these cells to various newer bioactive materials. In addition to his work as a university lecturer, Moodley is involved in the research department at composite veneers company edelweiss. IDS 2019 declared open for business
