The German company Schütz Dental promotes innovative dentistry and dental technology with its products made in Germany for a complete digital workflow in accordance with its motto, “Networking. Partnership. Success.” In this interview, the company’s sales director, Michael Stock, explains what the motto means to the company and Michaela Pavlic, export sales director, shares which products IDS visitors should be sure to take a look at.
Mr Stock, what does the Schütz Dental motto mean to you?
It means firstly that Schütz Dental creates great networks between general dentists, implantologists and dental technicians worldwide, secondly that a trusting partnership is the most important thing to us, and thirdly that we offer systems and know-how that help dental practices and laboratories become even more successful.
Ms Pavlic, at IDS 2021, the company is presenting its complete digital workflow. What does that mean in detail?
Our complete digital workflow includes CAD/CAM technology, the IMPLA implant system—which was launched in 1963—the zebris craniomandibular dysfunction measuring and analysis system, and the relevant accessories, tools and materials. In addition, we have expertise in analogue materials such as highly aesthetic bleaching materials, high-end filling composites, bonding materials and acrylics.
What’s new at IDS 2021?
Pavlic: Visitors can look forward to the new Tizian Function Pro 2.0 software in combination with the Tizian JMA Optic by zebris system. The software offers new modules, such as Digital Occlusion, and various articulator and export settings. The Tizian Function Pro 2.0 is exclusively expandable by up to nine modules.
We are also presenting the new Tizian 1.5 Pro—a flexible milling system for the smallest of spaces. Thanks to a machining angle of up to 360°/130° (A-axis/B-axis), the system masters even the most demanding tasks with ease. The ten tool places additionally increase the flexibility for our customers.
In 2019, we introduced the new and innovative modular IMPLA surgery box. This year, the IMPLA implant system is one of our focus products. We seek to fulfil our customers’ requirements and so are proud to present the new 4 mm implants in both the conical and the cylindrical Cone Connection implant line.
Which Schütz Dental classics should visitors be sure to check out?
Pavlic: For enduring success, we recommend a portfolio that combines both innovative digital systems and classic products. Therefore, participants should ask about our bleaching system, composites, bonding materials, acrylics and equipment such as our denture cleaning system.
What makes Schütz Dental a real partner for general dentists, implantologists and dental technicians?
Pavlic: Our service does not stop with the sale of the product. Our customers benefit from our network of speakers, training courses, marketing support and much more.
Editorial note: To learn more about the Schütz Dental systems, visitors are invited to come by the company’s booth (#F010–G011) in Hall 10.1 during IDS. Further details are available at www.schuetz-dental.com.
