DentLight launches FUSION photonic diagnostic and treatment deluxe kit

COLOGNE, Germany: The FUSION Deluxe Kit is based on the award-winning FUSION curing light. It is the most powerful and versatile light, delivering 4,000 mW/cm2 and 3-second curing.The modular light transforms to a multipurpose photonic device by simply switching its patented interchangeable light heads. At IDS, DentLight has released its new products FUSION Twinhead, Plus head, DOE head and fPad head.

The Twinhead splits a high-power light into two separate beams that can cure from both the buccal and lingual sides simultaneously. The high-performance split curing avoids shrinkage-related microleakage, particularly for bulk curing. Plus head boosts the wavelength coverage of the standard curing head to broadband wavelengths from 385 to 490 nm.

The fPad light head delivers a 630 nm high-power light that photodynamically activates disinfection gels to kill bacteria. The DOE light head performs diagnostic procedures, including caries detections and early-stage oral cancer screening.

FUSION has received recognition from many experts, including Dr Howard Glazer, a past president of the Academy of General Dentistry. According to him, “The FUSION curing light is a twenty-first-century light that is versatile, cost-effective and valuable in everyday practice.”

The company is also showcasing the Nano Freedom, a wireless loupe light that fits on all loupes or eyewear, and iOCam, a wireless loupe-mounted high-definition camera allowing instant video display and recording on an iPad.
